Enjoy a privileged location in the village of Porto da Rua with quick access to the beach (3 minutes by car / 12 minutes walking), local markets, pharmacies, and restaurants. It’s the ideal spot to explore the beauty of the region, with nearby local shops and bakeries. Perfect for those seeking tranquillity without giving up the authentic Alagoas charm!

Access to the suites is through an independent entrance, so you have the comfort of a family home with the privacy of a guesthouse. The suites include a double bed, air conditioning, private bathroom, full bedding set, and a wardrobe shelf.

Guests also have access to a fully equipped shared kitchen, barbecue grill, living room with TV, two outdoor showers, a table for work or home office, shared leisure areas, and a clothesline.

Nearby, there are small markets, bakeries, and a gym called JCfit, located less than 50 meters away. We have a partnership with the gym, offering a daily rate of R$15, or for packages of more than three days, a reduced rate of R$10 per day.

There is an option to order a breakfast delivery service – that’s right – you can order, and it will be delivered right to the comfort of the Catolé Suites. After your reservation, I will send you the contact information. I will also share our catalog of tours so you can choose how to enjoy Milagres when you book your stay.

Porto da Rua is the largest village in São Miguel dos Milagres, featuring a beautiful beach with restaurants, beach clubs, and beach bars. The village also offers markets, bakeries, snack bars, pizzerias, burger joints, small shops, a gym, a pharmacy, and much more. All of this, combined with the fact that it is located at the heart of the Route of Miracles, makes Porto da Rua the ideal place to stay in the region. In addition to enjoying everything here, you can easily travel to all the other destinations along the Route.

Getting around the Porto da Rua region and its surroundings is relatively easy and offers several options to make the most of your experience. Here are some suggestions on how to get around and what to do in the area:

The best ways to get around include renting a car, which is highly recommended for its flexibility when exploring not only Porto da Rua Beach but also other beaches in the region, such as Patacho Beach, Japaratinga Beach, and Maragogi. The main roads are well maintained, although some dirt roads may have uneven stretches. Private transportation services, such as taxis and motorcycle taxis, are available for short trips, although they may be harder to find in more remote areas (Uber service is not yet available in the region). Alternatively, renting a bicycle can be an enjoyable way to explore the area, and there are companies offering this service locally.

Things to do in the region include beach visits to discover nearby spots like Patacho Beach or Praia da Lage, known for their natural pools and privacy, perfect for a day trip. Outdoor activities like stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking are often available with our partners, who rent out equipment. You can also enjoy tours such as trips on traditional jangadas, buggy rides (including those for watching the sunset), boat trips, scuba diving, horseback riding, cultural immersion tours, or a visit to the manatee sanctuary in Tatuamunha.
